T&D's is OPEN:
Learn about the animals May through September on Saturdays and Sundays from noon - 6pm
(no one admitted after 5:00pm).
We suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes. It is a mile walk on
gravel paths through mostly wooded areas with benches located throughout for
your use. It is possible to push a wheelchair through the facility,
however, electric wheelchairs maneuver much better.
If rain is predicted, please call ahead to see if the facility is open. We
do not open during thunderstorms. Some of the animals are afraid of
umbrellas; therefore, we do not allow them. Ponchos are available for
purchase. GPS and Computer Directions will NOT get you to T&D's in a timely
way or at all. Written Directions to T&D's near the
bottom of the page.Admission - Ages 3-12 $5.00 per person
Ages 13 and over $10.00 per person

You may also visit us Monday through Friday during a guided tour.
You must go on a tour during the week.
(Saturday and Sunday you may walk around on your own. See above for more
information about weekend hours.)
Tours are only given at 10:00am and at 2:00pm.

stretch as far as possible to help the animals,
only cash or check is accepted.

Our gift shop features traditional "zoo" items and T&D's paraphernalia as well
as animal slippers, flip flops, lounge wear, and more. We are excited to
showcase many Made in the USA items: locally hand panted slate, barbeque
sauces, soy candles, clay and seed jewelry, wooden candle holders and night
lights, dog and cat toys, and much more! If you are looking for a unique
gift for the animal lover, you will find it here! Gift shop was new in 2006. All proceeds benefit the animals.

Group Appointments:
School groups and other groups may visit the animals any time throughout the year by appointment. A scheduled group receives
approximately an hour and a half guided tour through the woods. Group rates available.

T&D’s Photo Contest – We want to see your T&D’s photos! Photos will be
attached to cans in which visitors can vote for their favorite by dropping coins
in the can. The photo in each category with the most money wins Season Passes
to T&D's!

Enrichment Weekend
- June 12 & 13
During Enrichment Day, the animals will be having fun! Environmental or
behavioral enrichment is achieved by adding to a captive animal's environment or
by modifying that environment to stimulate behaviors resembling those of a
healthy wild animal. Enrichment is intended to encourage behaviors that
are appropriate for the species and that satisfy and animal's physical and
psychological needs (www.aazk.org). Come
and see the joys of animal enrichment! Event is free with your
admission to T&D's.

T&D's Birthday Celebration - Saturday June 26
Celebrate, with us, 20 years sharing
the animals’ stories and lives with you on Saturday, June 26! There will be a
scavenger hunt for both children and adults, face painting, and, of course,
cake. Bring a gift for the animals and receive a free hotdog.

T&D's Animal Encounters June,
July and August
T&D's Animal Encounters are weekly camps for boys and girls ages 10-15.
Camps will run Monday through Thursday from 9:00am - noon and are limited to 10
campers each week. This year we are offering three camps "Keeper for a
Week - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced". Daily activities
revolve around the responsibilities of what it is like to take care of wild
animals! Games, crafts, learning and a little work will make this camp a
lot of fun.
Wild Adventure in the Valley
- July 24 & 25
T&D's Cats of the World, Canoe Susquehanna and
Appalachia Spring Ranch have a "wild two day adventure"
planned for you. Visit T&D's Cats of the World to view over 200 rescued wild
animals, including lions, tigers, and yes, bears, Oh my! Take advantage of
what our beautiful valley has to offer! Kayak on the river with Canoe
Susquehanna,
horseback ride near Jack's Mountain with Appalachia Spring Ranch and hike at a
local state park. Several local state parks include R.B.Winter State Park, Walker Lake & Tall Timbers and Montour Preserve. Please contact each
facility to see what fees apply. More information to come. This
event made possible in part by a grant from the Snyder County Commissioners
Tourism Fund.
Animal Rescue Awareness Day - Saturday, August 7
Animal rescue organizations (dog, cat, horse, reptile and others) will be
located at T&D's Cats of the World for you to learn about what they do.

Rainforest Reptile Show
Exhibit - They're exotic crawlers, unusual slitherers, and fascinating
creepers: They are the creatures of the rainforest. Rainforest Reptile
Shows, a Massachusetts, family-based business, was established in November
1993 to educate and entertain people of all ages about reptiles, animals and
the importance of preserving the natural habitats of the world.

Visit the over 200 rescued
animals living at T&D's while you are at the event. Admission fee
applies.
Light lunch available.

Scout Day - Saturday, October 23 Noon - 4:00pm
Girl and Boy Scouts are invited to visit T&D's Cats of the World for scout weekend. Scouts will have a chance
to work towards specific badges at several stations located throughout T&D's while enjoying the animals.
Pre registration required. Please call and include your name, troop number, arrival time and number
of scouts in your group.
Admission is $4.00 per scout. Plan for a 2 hour adventure. Last scheduled group at
3:00.

Directions:
T&D's Cats of the World
is located in Snyder County, Pa just a mile outside of the village of Penns Creek. We are 50 miles North of Harrisburg, 40 miles South of Williamsport, 50 miles East of State College, and 40 miles West of Bloomsburg.
We are between Middleburg and Mifflinburg off of route 104 on a Pa map. Turn onto Troxelville Road, go one mile, our sign is on the left, turn right at
sign, and go back a half mile, we are on the left.

FROM BLOOMSBURG
(approximately 45 minutes - an hour) - Take 80 West to Lewisburg Exit (15
South). You will go through several red lights. Turn right onto
Route 45 West. Route 45 is located at the red light with Kentucky Fried
Chicken and Taco Bell.
Go 9 miles to Mifflinburg. At the end of Mifflinburg, turn left onto Route
104 (Amy's Frosty Freeze and car lot on corner). Go 4 miles to Penns
Creek. At the last intersection in Penns Creek, turn right on to Troxelville Road. Go 1 mile. Turn right on Mountain Road. T&D's is a 1/2 mile on your left.
OR
(approximately 45 minutes - an hour) - Take 11 South to Selinsgrove. As
you enter Selinsgrove, turn right on to 522 to Middleburg. At the only red
light in Middleburg, go straight. You are now on Route 104 North. Go 5
miles to Penns Creek. At the first intersection in Penns Creek, turn left
onto Troxelville Road. Go 1 mile. Turn right on Mountain Road. T&D's
is a 1/2 mile on your left.
FROM WILLIAMSPORT
(approximately 45 minutes - an hour) - Take 15 South to Lewisburg. You will go
through several red lights. Turn right
onto Route 45 West. Route 45 West is located at the red light with
Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell. Go 9 miles to Mifflinburg. At
the end of Mifflinburg, turn left onto Route 104 (Amy's Frosty Freeze and car
lot on corner). Go 4 miles to Penns Creek. At the last intersection
in Penns Creek, turn right on to Troxelville Road. Go 1 mile. Turn right
on Mountain Road. T&D's is a 1/2 mile on your left.
FROM STATE COLLEGE
(approximately an hour) - Take 322 East to Route 45 East. Go 40 miles to
Mifflinburg. Turn right on to Route 104 (Amy's Frosty Freeze and car lot
on corner). Go 4 miles to Penns Creek. At the last intersection in
Penns Creek, turn right on to Troxelville Road. Go 1 mile. Turn right on
Mountain Road. T&D's is a 1/2 mile on your left.
OR
(approximately 1 1/2 hours) Take 80 East to Lewisburg Exit (15 South).
Take 15 South to Lewisburg. You will go through several red lights. Turn right onto Route 45 West. Route 45 West is
located at the red light with Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell. Go 9
miles to Mifflinburg. At the end of Mifflinburg, turn left onto Route 104
(Amy's Frosty Freeze and car lot on corner). Go 4 miles to Penns Creek.
At the last intersection in Penns Creek, turn right on to Troxelville Road.
Go 1 mile. Turn right on Mountain Road. T&D's is a 1/2 mile on your left.
FROM HARRISBURG
(approximately an hour) - Take 11/15 North. About 2 miles after the town
of Liverpool, turn left on to Route 104. Follow 104 North to Penns Creek
(approximately 20 miles). At the first intersection in Penns Creek, turn
left onto Troxelville Road. Go 1 mile. Turn right on Mountain Road.
T&D's is a 1/2 mile on your left.
